Tupelo’s ice cream and dessert places are spread across town: downtown (Crave, Cold As Ice Kreamery), the Kings Crossing center (Crumbl, Mochi & Crunch), the food court at The Mall at Barnes Crossing (Great American Cookie Co., Yolo Rolo), and Gloster Street, East Main and Cliff Gookin Boulevard for the rest.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Tupelo’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 16, 2026. We added the rest from the state health department’s Lee County food facility list, Visit Tupelo’s directory and the mall’s directory. Places with no website of their own are listed only where a 2026 state inspection confirms they are operating. We left off Rosie’s Cupcakes, whose address is now Crave’s, and Baskin-Robbins and Funky Cones, which have no 2026 inspection on record. The list is alphabetical. Caramelcorn Shop in Crosstown sells caramel corn and other goodies, balloons and Westside Cakes, locally made cakes in flavors such as caramel, chocolate and red velvet.

Cold As Ice Kreamery is an ice cream shop on North Spring Street downtown, with a mobile unit for events. State inspections in 2026 confirm both are operating.

Crave is a downtown cafe whose menu lists desserts, pastries, breakfast items and coffee drinks. Its site posts only the current day’s hours.

Crumbl Cookies is the cookie chain’s Tupelo store, with flavors that change every week, plus delivery, pickup and catering. Its site does not list Sunday hours.

Dairy Kream is on East Main Street. A Feb. 20, 2026, state inspection confirms it is operating.

Dairy Queen is the ice cream and burger chain’s South Gloster Street store. Its location page would not load for us; an April 20, 2026, state inspection confirms it is operating.

Great American Cookie Co. is the cookie chain’s counter at the mall and keeps mall hours.

Mochi & Crunch Treats is in the Kings Crossing center. An April 21, 2026, state inspection confirms it is operating.

Scoops & Brews is on Cliff Gookin Boulevard. A Sept. 3, 2026, state inspection confirms it is operating.

The Popsy Bowl is on McCullough Boulevard. Its web address no longer leads to a working site; a Jan. 7, 2026, state inspection confirms it is operating.

Yolo Rolo is an ice cream shop near the mall food court, listed in the mall directory with mall hours. A May 6, 2026, state inspection confirms it is operating.
