8 bakeries and bake shops in Tupelo, from Talbot House and The Handpie Guy on West Main to Scarlet's Donuts on Gloster Street, with hours and phones.

Last checked 2026-10-16. Refreshed every three months.

Tupelo’s bakeries are small and scattered. Two sit in the West Main Shopping Center (Talbot House Bakery & Cafe and The Handpie Guy), the Caramelcorn Shop is in Crosstown, and Gloster Street has Scarlet’s Donuts and Connie’s Chicken’s doughnuts. Crave is downtown, and the cookie shops are at Kings Crossing and the mall.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Tupelo’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 16, 2026. OpenStreetMap had no bakeries tagged for Tupelo, so we built this list from the state health department’s Lee County food facility list, Visit Tupelo’s directory and the mall’s directory. Places with no website of their own are listed only where a 2026 state inspection confirms they are operating. We left off Creative Cakes, Mag’s Bakery & Sweets Co. and Simply Sweet by Margarete, which have no 2026 inspection on record, and supermarket bakeries. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
