How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Tupelo’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 16, 2026. We added the rest from the state health department’s Lee County food facility list and Visit Tupelo’s directory, keeping a place only where its own site or a 2026 state inspection confirms it is open. We left off The Twisted Whisker Cat Cafe on South Gloster, whose website did not load and which has no 2026 inspection on record. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
